There was a minor upset when their close opponent CroatianZadar (4-9) was rolled over at home by first ranked Montenegrin Buducnost (10-2) 87-66 on Sunday. Buducnost forced 19 Zadar turnovers. The best player for the winners was French Axel Bouteille (201-1995) who scored 18 points. American point guard Yogi Ferrell (183-1993, college: Indiana) chipped in 16 points. Lovro Mazalin (204-1997) produced 14 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Marko Ramljak (201-1993) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Zadar players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Buducnost have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending Montenegrin champion maintains first position with 10-2 record. Zadar lost third consecutive game. Defending Croatian champion dropped to the second place with nine games lost.
